Viral
Skin Rash is mostly found amongst children. The viral infection amongst the
children causes red rashes to appear on their body. These are contagious virus
infections. Most of the viral diseases could also be describes as child skin rash.
Measles is one such skin rash. Some
rashes are mild while some are life threatening for the child. The mild ones last
for just few days and do not cause any ill effects. Also, the complications of
such disorders are mild. Some of the viral rash that the children encounter could
make them sick and unwell for longer time. Viral
skin rash types There are many types of skin rashes, generally termed
as diseases. However, these are not actually diseases. Let us look at them. Fourth
disease Fourth disease occurs amongst the pre-school children. This rash
mostly appears on the trunks, and it starts fading after a couple of days. It
caused by a number of viruses. It is most of the time misdiagnosed as Rubella.
Fifth
disease Fifth disease, also called, 'slapped face' syndrome appears on
the face first as a big red skin rash that gives an impression of slapped
face. Thereafter, it goes on to appear on the arms and legs. This disorder is
seen amongst the school-aged children. The rash, however, is for few weeks, but
recurs for some weeks. Sixth
disease The sixth disease or Roseola Infantum affects infants of
6 to 18 months. The infected baby tends to develop a red skin rash on the trunk,
high fever and a runny nose. The rash is just for a couple of days. Skin
rash treatment The viral skin rash does not any treatment. The rash, after
appearing starts fading within 2-3 days. However, if the rash seems to be serious
problems, consultation of your doctor is recommended. Although
a proper medication should be provided to those infected by any of these diseases.
